As the tournament progressed down to the final eight players, deep stack poker would rule the day as the final table was in sight for the remaining players. NEVAK (8th place for $12,250) started out ahead with A♦K♦ against isbab's A♣J♣ all-in pre-flop. When the flop came down J♠ 7♥ J♥, isbab moved into the lead, the 7♣ on the turn meant NEVAK's was drawing dead. The next player to be knocked out was roflcopter88 (7th place for $12,250) , short-stacked with A♠7♥ dominated against isbab's A♥K♣. The flop of 4♦9♣ K♠, folllowed by the 9♥ on the turn meant roflcopter's mission wasn't accomplished at the intended goal. Frauwutz finished in 6th place for $19,250, hang around with just 10 big blinds for several orbits, before finally being knocked out with 5♣5♥ to the A♥8♣ of bcgt178 when the 8♦ came on the turn. Play would remain five-handed for over five levels with the chip lead moving from isbab to aaronmermel, winning a coinflip with A♣Q♠ against isbab's J♣J♦ when an ace came on the flop. Eventually, it would be Unsyatisfied, winner of WCOOP event 28 last year for over $500,000 that would finish at the final table bubble:

Here's how the final table was seated with the blinds at 25,000/50,000 with an ante of 6,250:

Seat 1: aaronmermel (5,829,304 in chips)
Seat 2: isbab (2,470,171 in chips)
Seat 3: Stewart "StuMan123" Yancik (4,385,103 in chips)
Seat 4: bcgt178 (1,890,422 in chips)

With an average stack of over 70 big blinds when the final table started, the first elimination would take place over 30 minutes into final table action. Aaronmermel continued chipping away at isbab's stack, now down to just over 200,000 in chips with the blinds at 30,000/60,000 with an ante of 7,500. Bcgt178 made an UTG raise to 127,850, and following a fold by aaronmermel, isbab re-raised to 195,700, leaving under 4,000 behind while StuMan123 made the call. On the flop of 6♦7♥7♦, isbab put in the remaining 3,991 chips while StuMan123 attempted to isolate with a raise to 240,000 with bcgt178 making the call. The turn brought the 3♣, and after a bet by StuMan123 to 576,200, bcgt178 folded. When the cards were revealed, StuMan123 had the checkmark, holding 7♣4♥ for trip sevens, while isbab held K♦J♠ and when the irrelevant Q♠ came on the river, isbab would collect $28,630 for 4th place.

After the elimination of isbab, the remaining three players decided to talk about making a deal, with Team PokerStars Online player Randy "nanonoko" Lew handling the hosting duties, he first showed the players a deal based on the chip counts:

aaronmermel 7,962,004 $78,489.47
StuMan123 3,947,674 $59,209.67
bcgt178 2,665,322 $53,050.86
$14,000 and the WCOOP bracelet going to the winner

Upon further discussion, the trio negotiated a deal, with these final numbers with the winner earning an additional $14,000 and the bracelet:

$70,250 aaronmermel (including an additional $500 StuMan123 took off his figure for "good karma")
$63,500 StuMan123
$57,000 bcgt178

The good karma that StuMan123 was hoping for didn't happen, as he'd be the next player to get knocked out. Bcgt178, who had crippled StuMan123 in an over 4,000,000 chip pot after flopping a set of deuces, would get the rest of the chips a few hands later. The blinds were now at 40,000/80,000 with an ante of 10,000 when bcgt178 made an UTG raise to 167,420. StuMan123, after requesting the bracelet be chopped into thirds, moved in for his last 1,422,474 in chips with A♠8♥ while bcgt178 made the call with A♥J♠. The board ran out 5♠ T♦ Q♥ J♣ 7♦, leaving StuMan123 with a payday of $63,500 while bcgt178 now held a slight chip lead when heads-up play began.

Heads-up play lasted just over 20 hands, as bcgt178 would add to the chip lead, holding a nearly 3-1 chip lead when the final hand was played out:

Aaronmermel, who had a 4th place finish for over $86,000 in a December 2009 Sunday Million tournament, pockets $70,250 for the runner-up finish, while bcgt178 winds up with $71,000 and a gold/diamond WCOOP bracelet. Not bad for 16 hours of poker.
