Get your #WCOOPLuckyHaircut to win Main Event satellilte tickets

Need a haircut? Want to play the 2013 WCOOP Main Event? This post is for you.

See, I got a haircut yesterday. It's a conservative trim that will turn no heads and is most certainly not lucky at all. Then today I read this piece from George Danzer about his lucky Mohawk. And that got me thinking.

Can a haircut be lucky?

Well, we here at the PokerStars Blog decided to conduct an experiment, and we'd like your help. We have two WCOOP Main Event satellite tickets to give away if you're willing to contribute.

It worked for him...

Here's how it works.

From now until September 19 at 23:59 ET, we here at the PokerStars Blog will be looking for the photo of the best lucky haircut. Get a Mohawk. Get a spade shaved in your head. Be as creative as you think your luck will need. We want to be entertained over here. After that, you're eligible for the satellite tickets if you follow these instructions down to the letter.

1) Take a photo of yourself with your new haircut and a piece of paper that has your PokerStars User ID and #WCOOPLuckyHaircut written on it.

2) Upload the photo to Twitter and post it with this phrase: This is my #WCOOPLuckyHaircut @PokerStarsBlog

3) After that, our team will be keeping tabs on all the entries. The best haircut pictures will be re-tweeted from our PokerStars Blog account. The best of the best (including the top two winners) will appear on the PokerStars Blog.

After the judges (that's us) figure out who we like best, we will award the best entry a $215 WCOOP Main Event satellite ticket. The second best will get a $109 Main Event satellite ticket.

We will announce the winners of the contest on Twitter and the PokerStars Blog no later than September 23, which is well long enough to give you a chance to use the ticket to win your way into the following Sunday's WCOOP Main Event.

The PokerStars Blog Team will be the sole judges of this contest and our decision is final. We're just looking to be entertained here, people. We're willing to pay for it. If you manage to entertain us, avoid shooting angles, and be nice, this will be fun.

Ready? Then get to cutting. We'll be waiting.
