WCOOP 2013: Team Online falls just short of gold

If you were watching the World Championship of Online Poker final tables last night as I was, you would've been looking at a red spade on more than one of them. As mr.MaxRipper ripped his way through the $1,050 NLHE's second day, Team Online made a run for gold in the other two events.

To start things off, Naoya 'nkeyno' Kihara, Japan's poker hero, made a fourth place run in the $215 5-Card PLO Hi/Lo event. After a year like he's already had, we probably should have expected it.

Meanwhile, Team Online's mixed game leader Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome rode a sick rollercoaster to a 5th place finish in the $320 8-Game contest.

WCOOP reached its halfway point yesterday. We now have less than two weeks left for you to become a champion.

Want your chance? There are satellites running every day. If that doesn't work, you have about ten hours left to submit your picture of your #WCOOPLuckyHaircut like this guy.

Do it!
