WCOOP 2013: Two for Yoo4 as the WCOOP-ometer ticks past $28m

An incredible $28,257,285 has thus far been paid to WCOOP-ers at PokerStars. That's a whole lot of money, a nice little chunk of which has been claimed by Yoo4 in the first double WCOOP bracelet swoop of 2013.

Yoo4 won their first WCOOP six days ago in the $215 PLO 6-max for $51,796.11, just ahead of Team PokerStars Pro Marcel Luske in third place. That was followed up with a $103,008 win yesterday to make Yoo4 the first player to strike WCOOP gold twice this year.

Rebus1980 pushed further ahead at the top of the WCOOP Leader Board with a final table finish in WCOOP-36 ($320 2-7 Triple Draw) for $6,426.90. That's 10 cashes, two final tables and one bracelet from 36 events. That's one very healthy ROI. Check out the final table write-up, which will tell you that mikexace won. That Player of the Series prize really is worth winning, you get a Champion's trophy, a 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) package, a 2014 TCOOP Main Event ticket, a 2014 SCOOP Main Event (H) ticket, and a 2014 WCOOP Main Event ticket.

Talking of returns on investment, CaLLitARUSH from Canada picked up $123,040.82 for winning WCOOP-32, with a lovely $11,544.28 in bounties on the side. Read the final table report here.

But what about ME?
Don't worry, that huge WCOOP Main Event is yet to play out and you've still got more than a week to qualify to play the $5,200 tournament. It's going to be huge and we expect it to break its $8,000,000 guarantee. Check out the WCOOP schedule and satellites.
