Negreanu, Mercier, Moorman favorites to win $51,000 WCOOP Super High Roller
We've been writing about WCOOP for a long time. We've written just about every story possible. But this...well this is a new one.
Today, PokerStars announced it is opening a betting market on the $51,000 WCOOP Super High Roller on September 20.
That's right. You can now bet on the outcome of the most expensive event in WCOOP history. As it stands, the favorites are people you might expect.

"It's already the most talked about online tournament of the year," said. Stephen Fisk, Managing Director of Sports Betting at PokerStars. "With the added spice that having a bet on it brings, fans and players from around the world can rail their favorite player and win money even if they don't have a spare $51k lying around."
This is the first time that the PokerStars sports betting team has offered wagers on poker. Betting will be available to players in jurisdictions where PokerStars already offers sports betting on PokerStars' .COM, .EU, and .UK licenses.
The betting market will stay open until the official start time of the tournament, 12:30 ET on September 20. Once play begins no more bets will be taken until the end of Day 1, although the market will be updated and opened again at some stage before the start of Day 2.
