WCOOP 2016: Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich grabs -COOP title number four in Event #25 ($1,050 NL Omaha Hi/Lo, 6-max)

Reading through the many final table write-ups this week nearly all included a player who have already won a -COOP or Sunday Major title. Event #25 No Limit Omaha Hi/Lo was no different. Benny "toweliestar" Spindler has two Spring Championship of Online Poker titles and nearly claimed his first WCOOP win.

But the tournament belonged to someone who has been tearing it up online and live for the past few years. With wins on the European Poker Tour and now four -COOP titles after defeating Edgy420 heads-up, Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich may need some new poker goals while claiming the $54,217.80 first place prize.

Read on below for Dzmitry's road to win number four.

Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich - Event #25 Winner $54,217.80

No back-to-back titles as the defending champion chickensssss busted both bullets yesterday fairly close to each other. But, there are plenty of -COOP winners coming back for the stone bubble as 30 players made Day Two but one of them waited to go away with nothing.

The overnight chip leader, Edgy420, has already shown some Omaha skills during this series making the Event #15 PLO final table taking away $9.3K in sixth place. Second in chips is Lena900 who has a Super Tuesday win from back in 2014 and looking for a first -COOP victory.

Andrey "Kroko-dill" Zaichenko still needs a Turbo Championship of Online Poker win to complete the PokerStars Grand Slam. His scores span from live European Poker Tour wins and World Series of Poker final tables, along with online triumphs in WCOOP and the Spring Championship of Online Poker and starts fifth in chips.

Right behind Zaichenko sits Mayu "marroca5" Roca who holds a SCOOP and Sunday Warm-Up title.

A little further down in chips is Benny "toweliestar" Spindler holding two SCOOP titles and looking for his first WCOOP title.

It would take 20 minutes from the start to break the money bubble. With the blinds at 1.6K/3.2K ante 400, three-time tournament leaderboard champ ismo<3seppo would raise enough to put mdv1978 all-in. Holding 4♠ 2♥ A♦ 3♥ mdv1978 found a great hand to go with, however ismo<3seppo's 8♠ 6♦ 2♣ Q♠ would avoid any possible lows and found a queen on the 6♠ T♦ T♠ Q♥ 2♠ board to crack the money bubble assuring everyone left $3,419.57.

Shortly after the bubble burst, four quick eliminations came including Sunday Million winner Kevin "iacog4" Iacofano earning $3,419.57 in 28th place.

Moving on to hour two where Benny "toweliestar" Spindler racked up a massive chip stack, nearly double of second place Edgy420. 15 players would remain after ismo<3seppo failed to earn any further TLB points while collecting $4,648.61 in 16th place. Among those going forward, Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich who has three -COOP titles including the SCOOP 2015 Event #19-H in Omaha Hi/Lo.

Urbanovich would bust maxypaxy in 13th place ($4,648.61) to bring up the final two tables with 15 minutes left in the third hour. Spindler retained his lead but with the table reassignment sent a fairly aggressive Edgy420 to Spindler's immediate left.

No further eliminations into the five-minute hourly break as Spindler and Edgy420 continued to stand one-two in the chip counts. Another well-known player Australia's Billy "crocky" Argyros almost won a SCOOP title in Event #20-H FL Omaha Hi/Lo this year (finishing as the runner-up) and is still alive here.

During the fourth hour it was all about Edgy420. Fully taking advantage of the position advantage to Spindler, Edgy420's key knockouts of TY4Stacks2 in 11th place ($6,319.41) and a huge two million chip pot eliminating IAmSoSo (winner of the PLO championship here last year) in eighth place ($8,590.69) would drive a huge chip lead into hand-for-hand play.

Looks like we are going to have a fun final table if Edgy420 lets anyone play. On the opposite table, with the blinds at 6K/12K ante 1.5K Argyros would min-raise from the button as ekziter, who is going after -COOP title #3 after winning a SCOOP title this year, shoved holding 3♠ A♦ 5♠ T♦ from the small blind. Back to "crocky" who covered and made the call with 2♣A♠7♦7♣. No low, and Argyros's sevens would play 4♣ Q♣ 6♥ J♦ Q♦ as ekziter exited and the final table would appear below:

WCOOP Event25FinalTable-2016.jpg

Seat 1: Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich (570060 in chips)
Seat 2: Billy "crocky" Argyros (720283 in chips)
Seat 3: Benny "toweliestar" Spindler (641345 in chips)
Seat 4: Edgy420 (2697909 in chips)
Seat 5: zzwwzzwwzz (834623 in chips)
Seat 6: PoluKalos (195780 in chips)

Ten minutes into the final table with the blinds holding, Argyros would min-raise from UTG as it folded around to PoluKalos in the small blind who shoved for 183,780 chips. Once again Argyros was there to make the call holding 4♠2♣A♠3♥ facing PoluKalos' 2♥ 9♥ K♣ A♥. It would be spades instead of hearts on the K♠ 7♦ 9♠ 8♣ 8♠ board giving Billy the flush and PoluKalos sixth place funds ($11,678.33).

Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich was not kind to the new kid on the block zzwwzzwwzz. On the weight of three final tables (fifth place, sixth place, and runner-up in Event #11) and a cash, zzwwzzwwzz currently is on top of the WCOOP Player of the Series race. Mark down another final table for the Chinese player as zzwwzzwwzz tried to bully Urbanovich in a blind versus blind battle but got looked up as Urbanovich doubled up. On the next hand with the blinds at 8K/16K ante 2K zzwwzzwwzz tried again and shoved from the button for 368,853 chips. Dzmitry was there again, re-shoving for nearly 900K with 2♠ A♥ 5♥ 3♣. Zzwwzzwwzz had kings K♠ T♠ K♦ 5♦ but the board laid out an ace and a low for Dzmitry A♠ 4♦ 8♠ T♣ 6♦ shipping $15,875.70 to zzwwzzwwzz in fifth place.

Two hands later Spindler decided he was not going to slowly crumble away. After leading most of the early part of Day Two, Spindler was down to 240,048 chips and shoved jacks J♦7♣J♣6♦ from the small blind. But, chip leader Edgy420 had a great hand to make the call 4♦ 4♣ 5♣ A♦. Spindler looked ready for a double-up until the ace on the river Q♠ 5♦ 7♥ 9♥ A♥ sent him home in fourth place ($21,581.66).

Benny "toweliestar" Spindler - 4th place $21,581.66

Argyros was seated between the hefty stacks of Edgy420 and Colisea but a cornered alligator would not go down without fighting back. Mid-way through the sixth hour with the blinds up to 12K/24K ante 3K Argyros would shove from the button for 429,627 chips as Dzmitry made the call with 4♦ J♣ 8♦ A♠. Argyros needed a little love from his 2♠ A♣ 5♠ 5♥ but too many diamonds K♦ K♠ 9♦ A♦ Q♠ would ship the pot to Colisea as "the Croc" was released back into the wild in third place ($29,338.41).

Billy "crocky" Argyros - 3rd place $29,338.41

Seat 1: Colisea (2813807 in chips)
Seat 4: Edgy420 (2846193 in chips)

With the players holding over 100BBs you might think we will be here a while. True enough the first half-hour of heads-up by ended with Dzmitry taking a 3.2 million to 2.4 million chip lead.

While Edgy420 would hang tough with Urbanovich for most of the hour right before the seventh hourly break Dzmitry would chip up from 3.4 million to 4.4 million after winning 13 out of 15 hands leaving Edgy420 with 1.25 million with blinds at 16K/32K ante 4K.

Ten minutes later with the blinds moving up to 20K/40K ante 5K Urbanovich would min-raise from the button as Edgy420 called to see the 7♦J♥3♥ flop. Edgy420 wasted no time shoving for 1.51 million with top pair and a flush draw K♣ J♦ Q♥ 9♥. But, Urbanovich also flopped well and called after hitting bottom set 3♠ 3♦ 2♦ 2♣. No bonus points for hitting two sets on the same board after the 2♠ turn, but the 8♠ river would ship the WCOOP 2016 Event #25 title and $54,217.80 to Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich!
