WCOOP 2017: Nick "PureCash25" Rampone's win in Sunday Million headlines Day 9

We're now up to our necks in WCOOP, that glorious period in which everything we look back on is WCOOP, and so if everything we look forward to. We're wallowing in it, there's no shame in that. So we have four more results for you today, with more events starting. Even better news: we're not even half way.



The headlines on Tuesday

Four winners today, the biggest of which was Nick "PureCash25" Rampone who won the special edition Sunday Million for a first prize of $256,000. David Aydt had the final table report from this one which you can read here.

There was a big win for wiciu777 in the special edition Sunday Warm-up. That was worth $222,000 to the Pole, who defeated Oscar "MendaLerenda" Serradell heads-up, as well as a pretty tough final table. Read Jason Kirk's take on that result here.

Down to the last seven of 119 in this event, led by gunner9696. Play restarts at 4:30pm (11:30am ET) with a first prize of $53,000 on offer.

WCOOP-30-H $215 NLHE [Progressive KO], $500K Gtd
Still plenty of play left with 98 players of the original field of 3,686 returning at 6:30pm (1:30pm ET). When they do meiko87 will start the day as chip leader, and with more than $2,300 already banked in bounties.

WCOOP-32-H $530 NLHE [6-Max], $250K Gtd
Some 32 players will be back to play this one to a winner at 10pm tonight (5pm ET). Her087 leads with $62,000 for first place.

PokerStars Festival headed for Hamburg: As we announced yesterday, the next Festival event will take place in the German city of Hamburg, running from 17 to 27 November. It all takes place at Casino Schenefeld with a €1,100 Main Event with a €500,000 guarantee. Find more details here.
