To curious WCOOP-Low players Triple Draw is worth a second look

Three events start today, but low stakes Triple Draw is the highlight for those prepared to dive in...

The first of those events is a Triple Draw 2-7 tournament, with a $22 buy-in and a $25K guarantee.

If you're already thinking of scrolling past Triple Draw on your way to something more like hold'em, consider these points first.

We know Triple Draw can seem to some players like a mystery, it has a lot to offer to any player curious about increasing their knowledge of poker.

Triple Draw might be one of the more exclusive games on PokerStars, but it's one any curious player would benefit from

And this event might be the one to convince you.

First there's the smallish buy-in. That means you can either dive straight in, or treat it as a serious opportunity to learn.
Because another way of looking at it is you have an excuse to lose.

You've probably played hold'em since you started. Triple Draw gives you the same buzz you got then. That $22 might be money well spent. Not just for the buzz, but for what you'll gain in experience.

And you can get a head start beforehand (it starts at 11am ET/ 4pm BST - late reg for three hours) by going to the PokerStars School Triple Draw page (that part is free of charge). That's where you'll discover the basics.

One last thing to remember.

Winning a hold'em title is great and sets you apart from most players. But a Triple Draw title? That puts you in some exclusive company.

You can decide on that. The link above will take you to those satellites, or you can register directly in the PokerStars Tournament Lobby. It's event 42-L and you'll find it under the WCOOP tab. There are more than 50 players registered so far.
