And here we are for the weekly Women's Sunday! Registration gave us these numbers:

Total players: 215
Prize pool: $10,750.00
Paid finishers: 36

Action heated up into the second hour, and the first player with the PokerStars logo exited the field. Friend of PokerStars Charlotte "Sjlot" Van Brabander left in 73rd place, but Team Pro Liv Boeree (shown below) continued on as the two-hour mark passed.

Ms. Boeree was eliminated in 48th place, though, before the money bubble. Said bubble approached a short time after, and rudiger1958 was the first woman to cash for $80.62. Payouts continued, and it was at about the 3.5-hour mark that the field was reduced to two tables. About 30 minutes later, crazycall86 made a push preflop with K♦J♦ but came up against the K♠K♣ of Lotus80. The board came 3♣J♥6♠2♠Q♦ and eliminated crazycall86 in tenth place with $172.00.

luaazul3 leads

Level 19 took players into final table play with blinds of 1,500/3,000 and a 300 ante. Players started with these chip counts:

Seat 1: Mosi4ka (37,614 in chips)
Seat 2: Lotus80 (93,214 in chips)
Seat 3: roxana II (32,434 in chips)
Seat 4: RickyIV0P (84,404 in chips)
Seat 5: donotXme (47,440 in chips)
Seat 6: hottiecrazy (72,294 in chips)
Seat 7: luaazul3 (140,266 in chips)
Seat 8: Purple_Ann3 (86,662 in chips)
Seat 9: future888 (50,672 in chips)

It only took a few hands for donotXme, one of the shorter stacks, to make a move. Hottiecrazy started the hand with an UTG raise, Lotus80 called, and donotXme reraised from the big blind. Lotus80 was the only caller holding A♠J♠, which was dominated by the A♦K♥ of donotXme. But the board came J♥8♠J♣8♥J♦ to give Lotus80 quad jacks! that was enough to eliminate the June 10th Women's Sunday champion, donotXme, in ninth place with $204.25.

Future888 doubled through Purple_Ann3, leaving the latter on a relatively short stack. Purple_Ann3 pushed all-in on the next hand with A♠K♥, and UTG raiser RickyIV0P called with Q♣Q♥. The board of 6♦2♠5♠6♥8♥ only gave RickyIV0P two pair, and Purple_Ann3 had to leave in eighth place with $268.75.

Three hands later, hottiecrazy raised all-in for nearly 60K in chips from the small blind with K♣6♠, but it just so happened that luaazul3 had K♥K♠ in the big blind and quickly called. The board of 7♦7♣T♥J♦J♠ provided no reprieve, and hottiecrazy was out in seventh place with $376.25.

Roxana II had been chipped down to less than 20K in chips and made her move with T♦7♣ from the big blind. Original UTG raiser RickyIV0P called with K♠K♦, and those kings held up to the 5♠6♣4♠T♣J♠ board. Roxana II exited in sixth place with $483.75.

Mosi4ka doubled through Lotus80 to climb the leaderboard, which left Lotus80 on a shorter stack than she likely preferred. A bit later, Lotus80 got involved from the big blind with luaazul3. The raised flop came 8♣7♠T♣, and Lotus80 bet all-in with K♣5♠. But luaazul3 called with K♦8♥ for middle pair, and nothing about the A♣ turn or 2♦ river cards changed that. Lotus80 was gone in fifth place with $623.50.

Future888 was the next player at risk, moving all-in with 8♣8♥. RickyIV0P quickly called from the big blind with A♦A♣, and the board came T♣4♠7♥7♠7♦. RickyIV0P had the better full house, and future888 was eliminated in fourth place with $913.75.

RickyIV0P doubled through chip leader luaazul3 and took over the lead during a tough three-handed competition. As luaazul3 lost ground, she made a move and found this huge double-up opportunity at the expense of Mosi4ka:

Mosi4ka doubled back through luaazul3 on the next hand but remained short. Two hands later, Mosi4ka got involved with luaazul3 again. The raised flop of 3♦J♦3♠ prompted a bet from luaazul3, raise from Mosi4ka, and call. The A♦ on the turn brought the same action, but the raise from Mosi4ka was an all-in move with K♥K♠. But luaazul3 showed 6♦4♦ for the turned flush, and the 6♣ on the river ended the hand. Mosi4ka left in third place with $1,214.75.

Brazil versus Argentina

The final two players started their action with these counts:

Seat 4: RickyIV0P (230,916 in chips)
Seat 7: luaazul3 (414,084 in chips)

They were anxious to move. On the third hand of the heads-up battle, luaazul3 raised and RickyIV0P reraised all-in for more than 205K chips. She showed K♦T♠ as luaazul3 called with K♠Q♠. The flop of 2♠8♣Q♥ only put luaazul3 further ahead, and the 7♦ and T♦ cards ended the tournament. RickyIV0P finished in second place with $1,612.50.

Brazil's luaazul3 won $2,198.48 and the weekly tournament title. Congrats!
