It's good to be innerpsy
I watched Mikhail 'innerpsy' Shalamov go deep in this year's WSOP Main Event, and I remember thinking, "That kid is quite a poker player. I wonder if he does anything besides play cards."
After seeing the video at the end of this post, I am now wondering how the member of PokerStars Team Online has any time to play poker.
This is just one screen grab from Shalamov's time in Vegas this summer, and this is the one that doesn't involve him practicing aerial acrobatics.
If you don't speak Russian, you probably don't know that the Russian poker great has a very popular video blog he does on a regular basis. After getting back from Vegas, he thought, "I wonder if the English speaking world would have any interest in this?"
And I'll be honest. After having spent the past nine summers in Las Vegas, I thought, "There's no way this is going to interest me at all."
Turns out I was wrong. Way wrong. This guy did more in one summer than I've done in the last decade. And he has video to prove it. Airplanes and all.
Give it a look.
