PokerStars Championship Macau: Like a $100K High Rollin' stone

How does it feel? To be on your own? Seven deuce in the hole? Like a High Rollin' stone?

We're back at the City of Dreams and Hard Rock Hotel poker room (hence the Bob Dylan, y'see) in Macau, and today kicks off the $100K HK Single Re-Entry Shot Clock High Roller. Rock and roll merchandise surrounds the players, but there's only one artifact in the room these players want to take home: the winner's trophy.

Who's in the room, you ask? Well, we've got Dylan, Hendrix, Jagger, Moon, Bowie, Winehouse, Cobain...

Oh, you mean poker players? I see. Everyone you'd expect to see here is here, pretty much. You've got Ike Haxton, Sam Greenwood, Daniel Dvoress, Philipp Gruissem, Tim Adams and Vladimir Troyanovskiy for starters.

Haxton returns

Then you've got the Aussie contingent - most of whom are all at the same starting table. Kahle Burns, Michael Egan, and Daniel Neilson all final tabled the Super High Roller earlier this week, and they're back on the same felt today, along with Martin Kozlov. Joining them are Stevan Chew and Adrian Attenborough, although he's one table along.

Burns and Kozlov are back at it today

Kitty Kuo is also in the mix, as is James Chen - another of the SHR finalists. Quan Zhou is also sat down, after he took down the HK$200K Single Day High Roller a couple of days ago. One player notably absent currently is the SHR champ Steve O'Dwyer. Perhaps he's out buying a new lucky mango.

We'll be back throughout the day, and the following two days, bringing you features, hand reports, interviews and the like as we look to crown another PokerStars Championship Macau High Roller champ.

For now, though, the blinds they are a changin'.
