ANZPT Queensland: Synched and stoked for day 2

Players have started making their way into the tournament area on another stunning Gold Coast day for day two of the ANZPT Queensland Main Event. A total of 68 players remain in contention for a day three berth.

The Jupiters poker room is a hive of activity as players start to take their seats with the lure of a shot at the AUD $168,075 first prize foremost in their minds. Our chip leader is Danny Joukhadar on 116,175. We also have a pair of Team Australia pros - Celina Lin (occupying the same seat as yesterday) and Emad Tahtouh - in action, along with PokerStars Sponsored player Lee "Final Table" Nelson.

A cautious approach doesn't hurt early on day two!

Meanwhile in Brisbane, Tom Zhou leads the field of 61 players into day two with 114,625. He'll be joined at Treasury today by Team Australia pros Tony Hachem and Grant Levy.

We will be playing seven one-hour levels or until the total field (currently 129 shared between Jupiters and Treasury) is reduced to 40 players. In another quirk for this tournament, the clocks are being synchronised between both venues today. The structure for today's play is:

Level 8: 400/800 (ante 100)
Level 9: 500/1,000 (ante 100)
Level 10: 600/1200 (ante 200)
Level 11: 800/1600 (ante 200)
Level 12: 1000/2000 (ante 300)
Level 13: 1200/2400 (ante 400)
Level 14: 1500/3000 (ante 500)
