ANZPT7 Perth Day 4: Final table fever

Poker glory.

Today someone will claim the Perth poker crown.

The final table is set and 2:10pm local time will see the remaining nine players battle it out for the first ANZPT title of 2015, and a top prize of $105,000.

It's been a tumultuous ride this week, but after three days of play here at Crown Perth, we're almost ready to award a new champion.

Team PokerStars pro Bryan Huang will start the day as table captain. After executing four eliminations yesterday he emerged with 779,000 in chips. With a 2010 Asia Player of the Year title, and a cash in the Aussie Millions Main Event last month, Huang will be looking to add to his list of poker accolades today.

Another one to watch is Michael Guzzardi, who bagged up 537,000 in chips last night. This is his third ANZPT final table after finishing third in the 2012 ANZPT Melbourne for $112,000 and sixth in the 2014 ANZPT Auckland Main Event for NZ$26,500. Guzzardi looks ready to go this morning. He arrived around 40 minutes early and is sitting at the table waiting for kick off with his headphones in.

Day 2 chip leader Michael Kane will also make an appearance at this ANZPT final table. After a couple of big hits yesterday, Kane was able to make a late charge and survive through to today sixth in chips with 382,000.

The players have just taken their seats and it looks like action will be underway momentarily. Here's how the final nine stack up.
