ANZPT Melbourne: The action never stops at Crown

If you're a poker fan, living in Melbourne, there is simply no better place to be than in the Crown Poker Room on a chilly Saturday evening. The room is always a hub of vibrant activity with plenty of fun and entertainment to be found.

Looking around the room today is an impressive sight. We're seated on one side of the room where the tournament tables are crammed full of our ANZPT Main Event entrants - somewhere in the vicinity of 140 players today.

Up above them is the high-limit cash game area. As the tournament breaks from those tables, the big cash games will start to warm up, with the $5/$10/$20 No Limit Holdem game reported to be pretty juicy this week.

Over on the other side of the room, every table is currently in use. The $350 Deepstack tournament is powering along and the low limit cash games are seeing plenty of action. An Aussie Millions Step 2 satellite is also about to kick off. Of course all of this fun is in front of numerous big screen televisions showing various sports from around the world.

However once the ANZPT leaves town, the action doesn't slow down in the Crown Poker Room as evident by a recent tweet @CrownPoker:

RT @NeilTheBoyo: @CrownPoker will there still be cash tables running alongside the main event??? Cash games never stop!

The tournament action will also continue as it will only be a short couple of days break before the Crown Poker Room hosts the Shane Warne Superstack event where the spin king himself will be in attendance. The $300 buy-in event kicks off at 12:10pm on Friday November 2nd with the final table on Sunday November 4th.

Another tournament worth mentioning is the Melbourne Cup Sweep tournament on Monday November 5th. Enter this one for $340 and make it through to the final 24 players and you'll be part of a Melbourne Cup Sweep where the top three will win Aussie Million Main Event seats!

So make your way down to the Crown Poker Room over the coming weeks and make the most of these fantastic tournaments and promotions.
