APPT9 Seoul Day 2: Mo rises to the top

Another competitive day at the felt.

At midday, 89 took their seats for Day 2 of the APPT9 Seoul Main Event.

Now only 13 remain.

After a late change of plans cut today two levels short, we finished up tonight just shy of the final table.

Some who weren't so lucky included Indian Team PokerStars Pro Aditya Agarwal, last year's APPT Seoul Main Event champion, Thailand's Chane Kampanatsanyakorn, and the winner from the year before, Australian Aaron Lim.

The final 13 were running good though, three of the Japanese contingent managed to survive to Day 3, as did Team PokerStars Pros Celina Lin in third place with 540,000 in chips, and Bryan Huang in seventh, stacking 309,000.

At the start of the day it was Japan's Takahiro Nakai who held the chip lead, but he's no longer with us after a 25th place finish. In his place stands USA's Jason Mo, who starts tomorrow with 960,000 in chips, a solid advantage over Poland's Daniel Demicki in second with 792,000.
