ACOP Main Event begins tomorrow
The HKD $100,000 Main Event of the 2012 Asia Championship of Poker starts tomorrow afternoon (7 November). After 12 days of preliminary events at the 2012 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP), PokerStars Macau is set to launch the tournament everybody's been waiting for as the main event is set to begin Wednesday afternoon.
The new five-day flagship event on the Asia-Pacific Poker Tour has a HKD $100,000 (USD $13,000) buy-in and comes with a HKD $10,000,000 (USD $1.3M) guarantee -- the largest in Asia.
"This is where the real fun begins." said Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu.
After winning the opening ACOP Title Event -- the HKD $10,000 Deepstack Championship -- Wu made his goal clear. "I'm really happy with the win and the Silver Spade trophy but I want the big one. I want the Gold Spade!"
