EPT London: Serendipity

Moments ago, the PokerStars German bloggers - whose work, in their native language you can find here- tapped on the shoulder of the .com blog to say "Gavin Griffin has just doubled up." This was one of those neat moments of serendipity that sometimes occur, since moments earlier our video bloggers had just tapped on our (email inbox) shoulder and delivered news of a video blog featuring the Team PokerStars Pro.

Griffin, you surely know already, is the only player in the world who has earned poker's triple crown. He has a World Series bracelet, a WPT title and, biggest of all, was the EPT Grand Final champion in season three. Here, he talks to the video blog team about all those achievements, and his hopes for EPT London.

That double-up hand, incidentally, vaulted Griffin to about 30,000 in chips. He had A-J, his opponent had A-Q but all the money went in on the flop of A-7-J, which was good for two pair for the Team PokerStars Pro.
