EPT London: The lay of the land
Play has just started allowing us a first glimpse of how the early stages of the day will shape up. Typically the draw has thrown together some intriguing match ups.
EPT Barcelona winner Sebastian Ruthenberg has only a player between him and another EPT winner Julian Thew; Team PokerStars Pro Noah Boeken sits alongside Danny Ryan and Praz Bansi, whilst one of the toughest tables appears to be that of Barry Greenstein, who will play against Keith Hawkins, Johannes Strassmann, Dave Ulliot and Peter Gould in level one.
Irishman Andy Black, who has proven to be one of the most volatile and popular players on the tour, sits opposite the more subdued Surinder Sunar, Whilst PokerStars passport winner Dustin Mele finds himself sandwiched between Antonio Esfandiari and Eric Seidel.
There are more, and we’ll update you on those as we progress. But for now play has begun in level one with blinds at 25/50.
