EPT Warsaw: Puro purring
Those of us with long memories, which have not been bludgeoned to mush by too many EPTs, might remember all the way back to season one of the European Poker Tour, when there was a stop in Vienna, Austria.
It's a good bet that Mika Puro is one of those people. He made the final table in that event, finishing third for €51,800, consolidating the promise that he showed in Deauville of that season, when he came 14th. Since then, Puro has made a World Series final table, has bubbled another EPT final, and now the Finn is a PokerStars sponsored player, wearing the familiar livery deep into day two of EPT Warsaw. He recently doubled up to something like 30,000 chips when his A-7 hit an ace on the flop, beating Kevin Macphee.
