Teodor Caraba of Romania arrives with the advantage, close to a million ahead of second placed Hugo Lemaire. Behind him is one of two players on course for that mythical second EPT title. Mike McDonald saw off Nicolas Levi and half of Shane Schleger last night and has 1.9 million. Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier is the other, trailing further behind on 1.2million. The likes of Peter Eastgate, Freddy Deeb and Alexia Portal all return with their eyes on a place at tomorrow's final.

Full counts of all the remaining players are available here. In the meantime be ready for another "as long as it takes" days, 24 down to eight and it's all available on EPT live. Watch that, and read the blog at the same time. Let me stress that last bit - read the blog at the same time.

Now we wait for the players and the TV people to do their stuff. Once that's done we'll be under way.
