EPT San Remo: Day three introduction and seat draw

ept-thumb-promo.jpgDay three on the European Poker Tour in San Remo. Most of the 196 players returning today might be forgiven for wanting a steadier day at the tables.

After yesterday's freefall, a day that included the eliminations of a colossal 430 players, a more gentle approach might be called for. Take your time everybody, appreciate the niceties of a spring day on the Riviera, and remember, the final table is still three full days away. No one will win the EPT title today.

Well forget that, we've got a bubble to burst, and when that goes you could bet your ice cream all hell will break loose.

That's where we come in, only slightly biased arbiters of the PokerStars kind ready to report on all the shenanigans, emotion, the melodrama and intrigue that is part and parcel of a day like today.

That's today's first landmark, one that according to yesterday's rate of attrition we should reach within 12 minutes of the start.

Then anyone left will walk into a side event away from Casino San Remo with at least €7,500 to show for their Italian excursion. Last through the day though and you can dare to look towards the bright light of €1,250,000 waiting for San Remo's new champ.

That's all to come. We expect the action to be relentless from the start. Cancel the morning service, pay the kids to mow the lawn and give your refresh finger a bit of a warm up. We're about to restart in San Remo.
