Shamballa Jewels and EPT now joined at the wrist

ept-thumb-promo.jpgSince its beginnings in 2004, every EPT championship has come with a pile of cash, a nice trophy, and worldwide bragging rights. The EPT's many champions travel the world with tales of their win, but how many of them travel with their trophy in their carry-on? It's just not convenient. As such, few EPT champs had a way to prove their place among the European greats. That changed today as the EPT joined forces with luxury Danish jeweler Shamballa Jewels, the official bracelet sponsor of the EPT Season 8 main events.

Now, you should know, these bracelets are not the type of thing you'll get out of a box of breakfast cereal. Each one of the main event bracelets would cost you €10,200 at the store. When the Grand Final finally rolls around, the winner will get a bracelet worth €25,000. Have a look below to see the new EPT8 bracelet: black engraved ceramic balls, three 18k white gold balls, and one 10mm diamond pavé made on an 18k rose gold ball.

In other words...they're pretty fancy.

EPT London, beginning today at the Hilton London Metropole, will be the first tournament of Season 8 to award the new championship bracelet.

Shamballa Jewels owner Mads Kornerup said: "Poker tournaments have long been synonymous with awarding bracelets to winners as a sign of their achievement, so we are proud to be continuing this tradition and giving something truly special to each EPT main event winner."
