EPT Season 9: Landmark gold for EPT London, scheduling change for Berlin to Monaco

ept-thumb-promo.jpgEPT London has found itself a new home for Season 9 at a stunning new hotel venue, The Landmark London. Originally opened as one of the great railway hotels of the late 19th Century, The Landmark London was fully refurbished into five-star luxury in the 1990s and, so we've heard, is where the Manchester United team stay for their away games in the UK capital. The venue is still within walking distance of the Grosvenor Victoria Casino, which will host a selection of the festival's side events and all cash games. EPT London runs 6-16 March with the £5,250 main event taking place 10-16 March.

Four weeks of glorious poker

The scheduling gurus at European Poker Tour have had a brainwave. They've changed the dates for EPT Berlin to allow players wanting to play their way from EPT Berlin (now 17-27 April, main event 21-27 April) to Monaco can now stop off at IPT Sanremo (28 April - 7 May) before reaching the EPT Grand Final (6-15 May, main event 6-12 May). That's a four week flurry of poker action deserving of the EPT finale.
