EPT9 Barcelona: Super High Roller underway, while Ainsworth leads record-breaking ESPT field
The €50,000 Super High Roller is underway and Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu is the first to find himself in a hole for EPT Barcelona having been eliminated by Mike 'Timex' McDonald. More than 50 players have bought into the Super High Roller so far with bandstand names of the poker world including Negreanu and fellow Team PokerStars Pros Eugene katchalov, Elky, Jason Mercier and Jonathan Duhamel, as well as the likes of Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Steve O'Dwyer, JC Alvarado and Luke Schwartz.

Ainsworth bashing up the ESPT main
And it's also been a great showing in the Estrellas Poker Tour main event with 1,036 players entering the €1,100 tournament being held at the Casino Barcelona, tipping the prize pool into seven figures with 128 finishing in the €1,004,920 money. You can find the Day 2 coverage and chip counts here (in Spanish). The overnight chip leader was none other than Team PokerStars Pro Jude 'j.thaddeus' Ainsworth with 164,200 chips.
