EPT9 Prague: Nikonov nips Alioto and Boujenah to the trophy
Andrei Nikonov beat the mercurial Ilan Boujenah and Omaha specialist Dario Alioto to the trophy and a solid €9,800 in the mixed NLH/PLO/PLO8 Event #24. Nikonov has enjoyed a lot of success domestically having won the Russian Poker Tour Grand Final for €140,000 and run deep in six other RPS events.
This win is his first cash on the EPT circuit, but not so for Alioto, the Season 7 Omaha Player of the Year, or Boujenah who has scored one EPT final table on his way to $1,227,132 career live winnings. If you're not sure who Boujenah is then take a quick read of this.
