EPT Deauville: Slovakia's number one Jan Bendik wins another, pockets €61,560

Do you know Jan Bendik? If you've regularly played on the EPT then you probably will. Bendik has been a regular feature on the tour for the last few seasons and has steadily driven himself to the top of the all-time Slovakian money list: 54 cashes building a $1,226,987 haul (some $300,000 ahead of Dag Palovic).

Bendik, who owns an electricity company, has made two EPT Main Event final tables finishing sixth and fifth at EPTs Prague (€100,000) and Sanremo (€170,000).
