EPT10: Introducing The Bonus Cut

Did you know how much footage is shot during your average European Poker Tour festival? Remember to factor in the roving floor cameras, the secondary feature table and the fact that the Super High Roller is also recorded for TV broadcast. Any idea what that number would be?

Someone's got to film them when they go boating...

No, neither did we, but we've been told it adds up to "more than a thousand hours". Even if you do cut 14 TV shows out of that it still leaves a lot of material on the virtual cutting room floor. Then some bright spark came up with the idea of 'The Bonus Cut', an online reel of extra content just like you might find on the menu of your favourite movie. This first offering plunges behind the scenes of the EPT10 opening credit shoot which took place, somewhat ironically, in Las Vegas, Nevada during the WSOP this past July. Then again, the PCA (PokerStars Caribbean Adventure) is part of the European Poker Tour so we're used to a little bit of geographic ambiguity.

The Bonus Cut will be released every Thursday and among the features you can expect to see are a bloopers reel from EPT presenters James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton, and a behind-the-scenes snoop on Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso's music business machinations. Check out The Bonus Cut every Thursday on this special playlist here, which sits within the PokerStars Youtube channel.
