EPT10 London £50k SHR: Daniel Negreanu on 'ze Germans'

There's been a lot of talk over the last couple of seasons of the European Poker Tour about the German dominance of High Roller events. The story, as they say, checks out. The likes of Tobias Reinkemeier, Philipp Gruissem and Max Altergott have an incredible record. They don't always win though.

It's okay. This one's French.

So how do you beat a German in a High Roller?

We asked Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu for his take on it as Negreanu's not done bad in these things either. He's got a runner-up finish to Eugene Katchalov in the PCA Super High Roller for $1,000,000 and another from EPT Barcelona for €263,800.

Johannes Strassmann takes the spotlight to defend Team Germany, a role in which he excels.
