EPT10 London £50k SHR: Daniel's first time

It's a long, long way from grinding $20 tournaments to not blinking an eye about buying in for a £50,000 Super High Roller. Just look at Daniel Negreanu. It's almost impossible to imagine him ever playing $20 re-buys or, in fact, for anything less than something that involves any kind of 'k' in the title. But he once did. Halcyon days.

I won't be quite so obvious as pointing out that this could be you if you applied yourself, but it does go to show that everyone has to start somewhere. Your small satellite buy-in could be the step to a big buy-in tournament and that live event could be that first huge score. Negreanu still clearly remembers his, a $169,460 WSOP bracelet in a $2,000 PLO event in 1998.
