You'll kick yourself if you don't read this. It could save you time, stress and head scratching.
Essential EPT10 London Poker Festival information
All UKIPT and EPT London tournaments are taking place at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London's Covent Garden, but all cash games and cash registrations are taking place at The Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square. They are two separate venues. You can see the full EPT10 London Poker Festival schedule here.
What you need
You will need two cards to play any UKIPT or EPT event. You will need a PSLive card and a Hippodrome Friends card, which is necessary under British gaming regulations: the tournaments at the Grand Connaught Rooms are taking place under The Hippodrome Casino licence.
Where and when to get the cards
The Hippodrome Casino is open 24-7 so drop in there to pick up a card as soon as you're able. Do it at your leisure and you'll miss any potential snarl ups before the key tournaments begin. Collect your Hippodrome Friends card and don't forget to bring photo ID. You can buy into the EPT and UKIPT London Main Events from now (all other side events can be bought into from 10:00AM the day before).
Is it far?
No. It should take you less than 10 minutes to walk, significantly less time than you'd spend wandering around the Rio in Las Vegas, and is pretty much just one road (walk down Long Acre and straight into Great Queen Street).
You are able to buy into events through the PokerStars client up to two hours before they begin, but you'll still need to collect a Hippodrome Friends card from The Hippodrome Casino. Once you have that card you can pick up any tournament seat receipt from the PSLive desks at the Grand Connaught Rooms, but buying in with cash must always take place at The Hippodrome Casino.

And in case you need a little help, just refer to this flow chart. It's really not that complicated.
