EPT9 Deauville in review: Remi Castaignon wins €770,000, keeps the trophy in France

Frenchman Remi Castaignon snatched back the EPT Deauville title from foreign hands when he beat Lebanese tour regular Walid Bou Habib heads-up to win €770,000, becoming the eighth Frenchman to win an EPT Main Event. Castaignon and Bou Habib had come into the final first and second in chips and, despite some early heavy losses, both converted those starting stacks into a heads-up finish.
