Another day, another $100k for Vanessa Selbst

It's been quite a year for Vanessa Selbst. Not only did she get married but she's also been busy recording one of the strongest years of her poker career.

2013 started off auspiciously with that incredible $1,424,420 win in the PCA High Roller. If you were to include her win here in Prague in the €5,300 PLO Championship, Selbst has notched up four six-figure scores throughout the rest of the year; 4th in the EPT Grand Final High Roller (€290,300), 2nd in the Borgata Poker Open ($492,569), 1st in the UKIPT London High Roller ($109,443), and this week's EPT Prague PLO Championship (€100,700).

Her $8,018,465 in live poker winnings puts her into 39th place on the all-time money list, sandwiched nicely between the new high roller (Philipp Gruissem, 40th) and the old school grinder (Barry Greenstein, 38th). Actually, that doesn't include this win so it looks like she'll be leapfrogging the bear into 38th position, just behind Freddy Deeb.

There was a one-two chop between David Peters and reigning EPT Player of the Year Jan Bendik who both took €131,000. Paul Volpe also booked a large score with a €72,000 third-place finsih.
