EPT10 Vienna: The big guns battle in the Eureka High Roller

The Eureka Poker Tour has been busy breaking records this week, not least of all with its 455-strong High Roller. The €2,200 event started yesterday and will be playing down to a winner tonight (as everyone will be keen not to miss the EPT Main Event, of course). First prize has ratcheted up to €170,000 and is with plenty of big names still in the running - at the time of this morning's seat draw anyway - there's going to be some tough competition for the title.

Team PokerStars Pro double act Eugene (Katchalov) and ElkY both made it through with Katchalov weighing in with a top ten count, while ElkY was looking for a spin-up as the shortest stack. Katchalov is looking to build upon his second-place finish at EPT Deauville where he was edged out of winning his Triple Crown by Sotirios Koutoupas (read that final table report here). Koutoupas also made it through as a big stack, as did EPT Deauville High Roller and PCA champ Dominik Panka, who confirmed his class in France.
