Estrellas en juego back on Spanish TV
by Ivan Marti
Like every other Wednesday, tonight we have poker on TV. While Antena 3 broadcast another EPT episode last week, today we're having a new PokerStars: Estrellas en juego series, which will start at 1:30, featuring a known face from last season, Fonsi Nieto. He'll return to the TV set to repeat the experience, the same as golfer Sergio García 15 days ago.
Next to Nieto, we'll see other known faces in the Spanish sport world, like David Barrufet, one of the best keepers in history and Spanish team captain during the Olympic Games in Beijing; Unai Emery, CF Valencia soccer team trainer for the second season in a row; and Mario Caballero, a versatile journalist, who has collaborated in all kinds of media: radio, press and television. Mario is sure known by many of you as host of Caiga quien caiga, a very popular Spanish TV show.
And that is not all. Like every other week, an online qualifier will sit next to his idols for the chance to win a package to the EPT, or to the next Estrellas Poker Tour event, which will start next week in Madrid.
The "lucky guy" is Rubén Rueda, 24, who defeated thousands of opponents at the qualifying rounds before getting a seat on TV. Let´s see if Rubén Rueda is able to repeat the achievement of José Luis Lara, who won a seat for Estrellas Poker Tour Alicante and even received a prize in his first live poker tourney.
