PokerStars qualifier Antonio Dieguez wins Estrellas Poker Tour Málaga
After four intense days of poker action, the Málaga leg of the Estrellas Poker Tour finished with PokerStars qualifier Antonio Dieguez as the winner. Dieguez, who was second at the PokerStars Eureka Poker Tour event in Prague last month, took home the trophy, a first prize of €81,500 and a ticket to next season's EPT Barcelona.
Canadian player and PokerStars qualifier Michael Carter finished in second position for €51,900, and PokerStars player Natanael Fernández ended in third for €28,830.
In this PokerStars Estrellas Poker Tour Malaga, which took place at the Torrequebrada Casino from March 31 through April 3, 375 players entered making a total prize pool of €327,600. In total, 45 made the cash.
The final day started with 12 players, and the final table was confirmed very quickly. After a And just four levels in Carter and Diéguez made it to heads-up. Diéguez said: "I felt stronger at the final table. Carter is a very tight player and he was not pushing. Winning this event is a dream come true for me."

€300 NLH Freezout (a two-day event) attracted 117 players, with a prize pool of €33,696. The winner was the Spanish PokerStars qualifier Jose Javier Patiño Gonzalez, for €9,440.
€160 NLH Bounty Turbo Freezout (€20 bounty) attracted 46 players, with a total prize pool of €7,065. The winner was the Spanish player, Diego Bermejo Delgado for €3,215.
