PokerStars France Poker Series heads for Divonne
If you like things to go quick, then you'll love the PokerStars France Poker Series. The second leg of the tour's debut season begins in the eastern town of Divonne tomorrow (Saturday) - and will be done and dusted by Sunday night!
The €1,200 buy-in, two-day event at the Casino Partouche begins at 2pm local time and is expected to attract more than 300 players. Of that lot, 187 will be PokerStars qualifiers. Also playing is Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso and Julien Brecard.
The tour's first event back in May in Beaulieu-sur-Mer was a great success, with Team PokerStars Pro Jose 'Nacho' Barbero taking top spot for more than €40,000. He won't be back for Divonne, though - he's currently battling it out at LAPT Argentina.
You can keep up with the action from tomorrow over on our sister French blog, where Henri Frey is recording events. If reading French is not your thing - shame on you - then pop along to Google Translate for assistance. C'est très bonne.
