IPT Campione headed to Day 3

ps_news_thn.jpgAfter 9 hours of play Saturday the field of 125 who started Day 2 is now down to 32 players who move forward to Sunday's Day 3 and have a shot at cashing here at IPT Campione.

Ivan Losi, from Italy, is the chip leader with 550,000 chips, followed by Team PokerStars Pro Pierpaolo Fabretti with 445,900. Losi has been chip leader since the beginning of Day 2.

Sitting in thid is Italian player Alfredo Porfidia with 403,200 chips. Two PokerStars qualifiers and IPT Season 3 Leader board winner Oleksii Kovalchuk are also among the Day 3 field.

Inevitably, Day 2 had its share of causalities. Nearly 100 people hit the rail, including Team PokerStars Online's Luca Moschitta.

Today, our 32 remaining players will play into the money (32 places are paid) and we expect some serious action given the quality of the remaining field here in stunning Campione.
