IPT San Remo: Supernovas clash at the final table, €180,000 for first

ps_news_thn.jpgSix players remain at the Italian Poker Tour San Remo main event final table with €180,000 up for grabs for the winner. The action started today eight-handed but quick eliminations for Giuseppe Zarbo (8th, €14,000) and Johnatan Maisonneuve (7th, €21,000) have guaranteed the remaining players a minimum €29,000 pay out; the heads up combatants will each take home six-figure scores. PokerStars Supernova Elite Nicolo Allisardi started the day as table captain but has since been pegged back by fellow Supernova Elite Alessandro Meoni who has claimed the chip lead.

Nicolo 'nitty' Allisardi

Allisardi, a 23-year old player who plays under the name 'jokers_89', descibes his style as nitty while Meoni, a 29-year old whose online identity is 'cippino1', claims to play poker in a 'sick' way. They're polar opposites and could make for a great irresistible-force-versus-immovable-object heads-up contest. They just have to despatch the other four players first...
