Venneri keeps IPT trophy at home
An Italian player kept the italian Poker Tour inside Italy's borders last night when he won €130,000 at IPT Campione.
Antonino Venneri beat a field of 224 players at the Casino Municipale, where the Italian Poker Tour boasted a prize pool of CHF 517,127.
Venneri's heads up opponent was Ivan Losi, from Italy, who took second place for €100,000. The final action saw Venneri go all-in far behind his opponent's hand with A♣2♣. Ivan Losi called the all-in with 9♦9♠ but the board ran out 2♦A♥J♣3♥Q♦.
The IPT's next stop will be in San Remo July 26 - 30.
