LAPT7 Brazil: The search for a new champion continues

Cards are back in the air at the LAPT7 Brazil, the 400 survivors from Day 1A and 1B combined into a single field. Play wrapped early this morning at just past 3 am and with 329,900 in chips, Anderson Kim is the runaway chip leader. Vitor Talamini is his closest competitor with 260,800 and Day 1A leader Cassio Killes arrives today with 244,300 to work with. Other notable big stacks include Marco "Chacal" Cheida (229,600), Victor Vargas (190,300) and Damian Salas (179,500) and Mayu "marocca5" Roca (124,200).

The coveted BSOP bracelet

Chasing a record third LAPT title is our very own Nacho Barbero, who bagged up 53,800 last night, while his fellow Team Pro Leo Fernandez (119,200) strives for a second win after taking down his first trophy in Panama last season. Team Pro Angel Guillen survived to Day 2 with a 90,000 stack and Team Online's Jorge Limon woke up today to find himself on the live streaming featured table.
