PCA 2013: Hey, look! Satellites!

PCA-2010-thumbnail.jpgI spent an inordinate amount of time outside this weekend, and no small amount of it came on Saturday night during the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. In the early part of the show, I looked to the sky and thought, "There's one!" only to discover in disappointment...nope, just a satellite. I never imagined that less than 48 hours later I'd be declaring, "Yay satellites!"

Today, PokerStars rolled out a bunch of 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure satellites. If you click on the TOURNAMENTS - EVENTS - PCA- CASH SATELLITES tabs in the PokerStars lobby you will see satellites ranging from $1.10 all the way up to the $700 weekly qualifier. There are also $33 + R 3x qualifiers that guarantee a package to the PCA.

What does that get you? I'm glad you asked.

  • $10,300 buy-in to the PCA main event
  • Nine nights accommodation at Atlantis
  • $1,099 to spend on travel expenses
  • $1,125 room credit to spend on food and drink at Atlantis

While the new satellites launched this morning, you can still play the very popular FPP Mega-Path satellites that have been running since early April. Those allow you to get on the road to the Bahamas for as little as a few Frequent Player Points.

The tenth PokerStars Caribbean Adventure runs January 6-15, 2013 at the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Might as well start working to get your seat today.
