PokerStars Championship Barcelona: €10K High Roller final day kicks off with a plan
When the 34 remaining players in the €10,300 High Roller took their seats, they had a decision to make before play even began.
In a need to have the tournament finish before 3am (in order to empty the main tournament room for packing down), the tournament director presented the players with two options:
1. Shorten the levels to 50 minutes from the get go.
2. Play six one-hour levels, then shorten the levels to 45 minutes thereafter.
Option number two was the most popular, so there's hope we'll find a winner and a new millionaire (barring any deals) before 2am tonight.
Ronny Kaiser is the chip leader coming into the day with a stack of 2.69 million and blinds at 10K/20K with a 3K ante. Click here for a recap of all of yesterday's action.
Here's a peek at the final day seat draw:
|1||6||Conor Beresford||United Kingdom||1,033,000||52|
|4||1||Jake Cody||United Kingdom||1,080,000||54|
|4||6||Luis Rodriguez Cruz||Spain||1,893,000||95|
