PokerStars Festival headed to Hamburg, Germany
We may be headed toward the end of the year, but that doesn't mean we're done with stops on the PokerStars Festival circuit. After Uruguay and Dublin this month and Sochi in October, PokerStars has another city in mind.
PokerStars announced today that it is headed to Hamburg, Germany November 17-26 to host a Festival event at the Casino Schenefeld.
The stop will have all you have come to expect from a PokerStars Festival, including the €1,100 PokerStars Festival Main Event with €500,000 guaranteed, the €330 Hamburg Cup, and the €2,200 PokerStars Festival High Roller.
Team PokerStars Online's Felix Schneiders is more than happy to see the Festival headed his way. He said, "I'm excited to see the first PokerStars Festival ever held in Germany and I'm expecting this event will attract many players. I'm especially hyped to have a chance to meet up with members of the German poker community. It's not often that I get to play live poker in the country I have grown up, so I'm really looking forward to playing in the €500,000 guaranteed Main Event. I'm sure PokerStars will be the most awesome host providing a great schedule and atmosphere for this event."
The casino sits on Hamburg's northwest side near the Elbe river. Here's what you can expect while you're there.
Hamburg Cup: November 17-19- €330
PokerStars Open: November 19-21 - €220
