PokerStars Festival headed to little Paris (aka, Bucharest)
Head out to eastern Europe. Turn yourself to the south. Set your GPS for Bucharest and the JW Marriott Hotel. Before long, you will find yourself in what folks call the Paris of the East.
PokerStars is gearing up for its next Festival stop in Bucharest, Romania. The schedule has been streamlined with a focus on making the events you love even bigger and better than before. The customer service and overall experience looks to be even better than you've come to expect.
It all begins July 31 with the kickoff of the first ever €170 Megastack Romania event. After that, it's all about the new and improved PokerStars Festival Bucharest tournament schedule.
Want to know more? Keep reading below.
Here are some of the big events on the schedule:
--PokerStars Megastack: July 31-August 2, 2017 - €170
--PokerStars Festival Main Event: August 2-6, 2017 - €1,100 - €500,000 guaranteed
--PokerStars Bucharest Cup: August 4-6, 2017 - €330
--PokerStars Festival High Roller: August 4-6, 2017 - €2,200
You can also plan for a sweet party at Bordello's in old town Bucharest (where our inside sources tell us you can find the best pint of Guinness in all of Bucharest).
Back in 2016, 579 players showed up for the Main Event. Event organizers are expecting that number to increase this year, especially in light of the partnership with the Israeli Poker Championship happening the week before.
For now, head on over to your nearest PokerStars lobby and check out the increased guarantees for the online satellites.
Will we see you there?
