4.20pm:Peter Barrable eliminated in fourth place winning €17,700
Peter Barrable opened to 50,000, Femi Fakinle three-bet, Peter Barrable moved all-in and Fekinle called.
The board of 5♥K♣4♦2♣6♣ gave Barrable quite a sweat but Fakinle eliminated another player and extends his chip lead still further. He know has a massive, massive stack. --NW
4.10pm: Schmukal takes one from Barrable
On the button Jens Schmukal raised to 42,000 and was called by Peter Barrable from the small blind. The flop was 4♦[10h]4♣. Barrable checked to Jens who bet 44,000. Barrable cut out some chips and check-raised to 124,000 total. After about 20 seconds Schmukal announced he was all-in. Barrable took a long time over his next move but eventually folded. --NW
4.05pm: Brian Downey is out in 5th place (€14,600)
Jens Schmukal puts the short stacked Downey all-in from the small blind. Downey makes the call.
The board runs out T♥Q♣7♠Q♦8♠ and Downey is knocked out in 5th place. He takes €14,600 as the action goes four-handed. -- RD
4pm: Aonghus Farrell doubles through Brian Downey
Brian Downey opened to 42,000 from under the gun, it folded to Aonghus Farrell in the small blind who moved all-in for just over 200,000. Downey made the call and had about 300,000 to start the hand.
The board ran out [10s]3♠5♦J♥2♦ and Farrell turned a set to go from worst to first. Downey is down to dust. --NW
3.55pm: Downey doubles
Downey shoves from the small blind and is called by Barrable in the big blind.
Downey flopped a jack and doubled up to 425,000. --RD
3.50pm: Fakinle takes one from Schmukal
Jens Schmukal raised to 35,000 from the cut-off and was called by Femi Fakinle from the small blind. On the flop of 5♣J♣6♥ Fakinle checked, Schmukal bet 55,000 and Fakinle check-raised to 150,000 total. After a spell of thought, Schmukal gave it up. --NW
3.45pm: Schmukal values the river
Schmukal picked up a nice river card on a J♦K♠3♣2♥6♦ board when he was sat with K♣6♣. Farrell called the 48,000 value bet. Schmukal's stack is continuing to grow. -- RD

3.30pm: Farrell picks up some chips
Aonghus Farrell raised from the cut-off to 30,000 and was called by Downey and Barrable in the blinds. Downey waits until the 8♥T♥3♠9♦ turn until he leads 56,000. Farrelll all but moves all-in for a 200,000 raise and Downey passes. -- RD
3.15pm: Fakinle forces a fold from Downey
Brian Downey raised to 36,000 from under the gun and was called by Femi Fakinle on the button.
The flop was 2♠8♣4♣. Downey bet 50,000 and was called. On the 3♣ turn, Downey bet 100,000 and was called. Downey slowed down on the 4♥ river checked to Fakinle who fired 180,000. Downey tanked for a couple of minutes before folding. Fakinle showed A♠[10s] as he collected the pot, Downey said, 'You were ahead.' --NW
2.55pm: Germany knockout Scotland
It's a big day for Germany both here and in South Africa. David Rowley raised under the gun to 35,000 and was three-bet to 125,000 by German Jens Schmukal from the blinds. Rowley moved all-in fro 299,000 and Schmukal made the call.
Schmukal flopped big with K♠Q♣T♥ leaving Rowley drawing thin. It was T♣ on the turn and K♦ on the river to let the German fill up and take a large 850,000 stack. Game on. -- RD
2.55pm:Barrable bullies the bully
Peter Barrable opened to 36,000 under the gun and was called by Femi Fakinle who was next to act. Everyone else folded.
Barrable led for 50,000, a bet that was raised to 120,000 total by Fakinle. Barrable then moved all-in over the top for around 625,000 total. Fakinle gave it up. --NW
2.40pm: Philip Phu is out in 7th (€9,600)
Femi Fakinle raised from the cut-off to 60,000 and Philip Phu moved all-in for 208,000. Fakinle didn't dither long before making the call.
Phu was in great shape until Fakinle flopped two-pair on the A♠T♠9♥ board. Phu had some niec backdoor draws to hope for one which improvedd with the K♥ but a blank 6♣ on the river settled it. We're now six-handed and the England-Germany match is about to begin. --RD
2.40pm: Fakinle goes to value town
Brian Downey opened to 36,000 from the cut-off and Femi Fakinle defended from the big blind. The two players checked it down until the river on a [10c]8♣5♣7♦5♥ board, before Fakinle led for 52,000. Downey looked him up but mucked when Fakinle showed K♥7♥. --NW
2.35pm: Rowley tank-folds
David Rowley raised under the gun to 35,000 and was three-bet to 100,000 by Brian Downey to 100,000. Rowley tank-folded and Downey flashed what appeared to be T♥6♥ possibly trying to build a loose image perhaps? -- RD
2.30pm: Fakinle putting big stack to good use
Since he eliminated Mike Hill, Femi Fakinle has continued to bully the table taking down three pots uncontested pre-flop. Most of the other stacks are closely bunched and they seem reluctant to take on the dominant chip leader. --NW

Philip Phu wins a small pot from the small blind. --RD

2.20pm:Mike Hill eliminated in eight place winning €7,425
It didn't take long for a significant pot to go down at the final table. Mike Hill raised to 30,000 from under the gun+1 and was three-bet to 95,000 by Femi Fakinle. It folded back to Hill who announced he was all-in for around 220,000, Fakinle quickly called:
The board ran out A♦6♠5♠2♥3♦ and Femi Fakinle stretched his chiplead still further. Hill though has the consolation of knowing his is top of the UKIPT leaderboard. --NW
2.15pm: Farrell takes the second
Femi Fakinle opened to 35,000 from the button and was flat called by Aongus Farrell in the big blind. The flop was A♠6♥4♦ Farrell checked to Fakinle who bet 42,000, Farrell check-raised all-in for around 170,000 total and Fakinle folded. --NW
2.10pm: First pot to Downey
The button was on Peter Barrable in seat seven, Brian Downey opened from middle position and won the blinds and antes. --NW
