UKIPT Killarney: The final table, levels 25&26 (blinds 20,000-40,000)

ukiptthumb.JPG9.10pm: Femi Fakinle wins the UKIPT Killarney
Farrell open shoves from the button and Fakinle makes the call. It's a race (unsurprisingly).

Fakinle: J♠Q♦
Farrell: K♥8♥

It looked like a tournament saving double up for Farrell when he flopped K♦5♠6♣ but the running turn and river cards of Q♣ and J♥ pulled Fakinle into the lead with two pair making him the UKIPT Killareny winner bagging the Wexford man €63,400, entry into the £5,000 UKIPT Grand Final, the EPT London, and a bloody great big crystal trophy. He also gets entry into the UKIPT Dublin for being the last PokerStars qualifier standing. Well played to Aonghus Farrell who walks away with €39,200. --RD

Fakinle wins the UKIPT Killarney

9pm: Back from the break
Aonghus Farrell raised to 100,000 from the button and Femi Fakinle called. Both players checked the K♦J♠3♦ flop. The turn was the 7♥ and Fakinle check-called a bet of 150,000. Both players checked the 2♦ river and Fakinle showed J♥8♣ to win the pot. Farrell now has around 600,000 left. --NW
