WSOP Event #31: Micon makes final table

Though it seemed like an unlikely bet at the beginning the the day (due to his low chip stack) Micon, the likable, yet controversial Neverwin poker player, has made the final table of the $2,000 NL Hold'em event. Micon, decked out in his velour Neverwin jumpsuit and huge headphones, will be competing for the WSOP gold bracelet and a whole bunch of money come 2:30pm Sunday afternoon.

Here's how he stacks up against the rest of the final table:

1. Justin Scott 1,500,000
2. Nathan Templeton 832,000
3. Robert Bright 324,000
4. Josh Wakeman 319,000
5. Carl Olson 301,000
6. Gregory Glass 267,000
7. Bryan Micon 224,000
8. Jason Johnson 174,000
9. Farzad Rouhani1 33,000

In other news, Nam Le rode his early big chip stack to Day 2 in the $5,000 PL Hold'em event.

Both players will be back Sunday afternoon to fight for their respective WSOP bracelets. We'll be here with updates throughout the afternoon.
