WSOP: New week at the Rio

This new week at the WSOP is bringing in tons of stories. Wil and I are on the case and prepared to bring you some good stuff. On tap...

  • Ian Johns, a young internet pro who makes his living at PokerStars, won the $3,000 Limit Hold'em bracelet. Word on the street is, he's a big fan of PokerStars. He also bought into today's $1,500 NL Hold'em event with his W$. We're trying to track down the new bracet-wearer today.

  • The $1,500 NL Hold'em event is going strong today. Team PokerStars' Isabelle Mercier called it a "zoo." We should have a photo gallery coming in the next hour or so.

  • Spiro "55lucky55" Mitrokostas is about to make the final table of the $1,500 PL Omaha event. Spiro is one of my favorite people in the poker world. Here's to hoping our man wins a bracelet today.

  • Wil has been scouting for some cool stories and has a couple involving "popkertrip" and Fossilman that you will undoubtedly find entertaining.

So, big news, big happenings, and big poker is in the horizon. Stay tuned for all the good stuff.
