2008 World Series: Greenstein makes final table

The World Series No-Limit 2-7 with rebuys event is one that brings out the big dogs in poker. It's a tough mental game full of pure poker. The final table of the $5,000 rebuy event was expected to be stacked and it lived up to expectations.

Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein sits among the final table players going into the final day of play. His fellow Team PokerStars Pro, Chad Brown, earned yet another big cash (his fourth this year) for an 11th place finish and $34,700. Greenstein currently sits in second chip position with a very good shot at the $537,862 first prize.

Not one to ever be outdone, Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has made Day 2 of the $2,000 Limit Hold'em contest and currently holds the fourth biggest chip stack in the event.

In other news from around the World Series, Team PokerStars Pro members Noah Boeken and Tom McEvoy got heads up in the first round of the $1,500 Triple Shootout. Boeken walked away with the victory at the table and an eventual cash for $5,596.

Finally, I've seen a lot of PokerStars' fans in my day, but so far Dean Kubicek takes the cake (many thanks to Tom Donoghue for the photo).
