2008 World Series: Negreanu, Brown cash in
Team PokerStars Pros Daniel Negreanu and Chad Brown have picked up their first in-the-money finishes of the 2008 World Series.
Both players made it into the money of the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em event. Negreanu placed 22nd for $16,496. Brown's run ended in 34th place for $13,602.
Brown wasted no time in getting back in action. He is among a long list of Team PokerStars Pro players who have made it to Day 2 of the star-studded $10,000 Championship Mixed Event. He joins Gavin Griffin, Greg Raymer, Barry Greestein, Bill Chen, Vanessa Rousso, and Katja Thater today in the battle for the final table.
Finally, congratulations are due to PokerStars-sponsored players David Rheem and Isaac Haxton for their big finish in the $5,000 Mixed Hold'em event. Haxton placed 9th for $35,109. Rheem exited in fifth place, earning $93,624.
